It seems that Dave Franco really wants us to know that he enjoys playing characters with musical aspirations (see: the after party). Jhis time around, he put himself on a Jamie Foxx track released for their Netflix Vampire film Day shift, with new music video arrived today.
The film centers on Bud (Foxx), who runs a pool cleaning business in the San Fernando Valley during the day but at night is a member of an international uunion of vampire hunters. Franco stars as Seth, who thinks Bud is his best friend. The film has been trending on Netflix and Foxx fans know the Oscar-winning actor the actor likes to celebrate his roles by writing songs about them, including “Chasing the Spiders” by The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and “100 Black Coffins” from Django Unchained.
On the occasion of his last release, Foxx wasted no time with a specially made track For the movie. “BUD (mowing vampires)”, by Franco, Foxx, and The BSB Boys, is a best-friend hymn which had its genesis at end of filming when Franco improvised the line “mowing the vampires with my best friend Bud.” In an Instagram reel, Foxx said the offhand remark “sparked a revolution”, prompting him to pull out his camera and ask Franco to repeat what he had just said so he could record it.
