In 2016, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the first-ever Outlaw Music Festival was launched and then sold out. The show was so well received by fans that Blackbird and Willie Nelson knew it had to go on. Since then, the festival has grown into one of the largest annual touring franchises in North America and continues to amass passionate music lovers everywhere they go. On Friday, July 1, the Walmart AMP will once again welcome Willie Nelson and his family to the 2022 Outlaw Music Festival along with the Osborne brothers, Steve Earle and the Dukes, Allison Russell and Particle Kid.

Over the years, musicians such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers and many more have been part of the Outlaw Tour, sharing unforgettable musical memories during tours across the country. “The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about bringing family and friends together for a great day of music and fun, and with the incredible group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw tour yet. I just can’t wait to get back on the road,” says Willie Nelson.

The Osborne brothers’ unique country twang meets swaggering rock and roll to create an easily recognizable sound that has earned them six Grammy® nominations, four CMA Awards, five ACM trophies and more than half a dozen hits. It’s a sound rooted in the excitement and electricity of Brothers Osborne concerts, each filled with songs that could all serve as catchy encores.

Steve Earle, who is known for his Grammy-nominated debut album Guitar Town and the Billboard song “Copperhead Road,” is a beloved country artist who began his career in 1974 and continues to wow audiences with his rockabilly that effortlessly connects rock and country. Rounding out the lineup are singer, songwriter, poet, activist and central voice behind the bands Birds of Chicago and Our Native Daughters, Allison Russell; and experimental future-folk artist Particle Kid.
